Triple Choc Chip Cookies

This is one of my favourite recipes that I love to make!!!! This recipe is from taste.com, but I have changed it a bit. If you want the original recipe from 'Taste', go to :

http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/13605/chocolate+chip+cookies  Just copy and paste it into the address bar.

This recipe is for triple choc chip cookies!

INGREDIENTS

150g softened butter

1/2 cup caster sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1 3/4 cups plain flour
1/2 cup milk choc bits

1/2 cup white choc bits - you can choose dark chocolate bits to replace them, but it might be a bit rich!

METHOD

1   Preheat oven to 200°C. Line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper.

2   Beat the butter, the caster sugar, the brown sugar and the vanilla essence for about a minute, or until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the egg.

3   Stir in the choc chips, then the cocoa, and then the plain flour.

4   Grab even amounts of the mixture (depending on how big you like your cookies - But don't make them too big, and don't make them too thin or fat. If you do, the cooking time will be different.)

5   Cook until golden brown which is normally about 15- 20 mins, but keep checking them just in case.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Store them in an airtight container for up to a week! But I find they barely last 2        days!! :D

6   ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
